We have collaborated with Andrea Mowry, otherwise known as Drea Renee Knits, to create these beautiful knitting kits! This gives you the yarn to make your very own Velvet Sweater. From the colour-work yoke, to the soft texture of the Melted Baby Suri, this is a must-have knit for autumn.

Pink Velvet Sweater Pattern

I was travelling to teach when I spotted the yarn for this sweater - the same colourway, but on two very different bases. I was immediately inspired and knew I wanted to put them to use in a beautiful colourwork yoke. The texture of the Melted Suri adds a romantic, vintage feel to this circular yoke pullover - Andrea Mowry

The Kit & Sizing 

Depending on which size you'd like to knit up, the amount of skeins in the kit will vary. For sizes: 

US Sizes 1-3 = you will receive 1 skein of Melted Baby Suri and 2 skeins of Yak Single.

US Size 4 = you will receive 2 skeins of Melted Baby Suri and 2 skeins of Yak Single. 

US Sizes 5-9 = you will receive 2 skeins of Melted Baby Suri and 3 skeins of Yak Single.

The Bases

Our Melted Baby Suri is an ultra-fine, brushed, baby alpaca and silk yarn. Perfect for fingering weight projects, it adds amazing fluffiness that makes it super warm and lux! Hand-dyed with professional dyes.

Yak Single

Our Yak Single base is a fingering-weight yarn. Slightly thicker than our Merino Single base. It is luxurious and soft with a smooth texture that drapes beautifully.
