Space Top Pattern - Download

The Pattern

Named for its outer-space vibe, this cute cropped, sleeveless top features a cut-out back and stitch details that really highlight the two contrasting colours. We took inspiration for this design from sci fi - think information travelling through space, matrix style (the knitter's version!

The garment is worked top down by knitting the front and back pieces individually. Seed-stitch panels down either side of the garment are worked separately. A back-opening is shaped by working Increases and decreases along the back selvedge edges. Nodules are worked throughout the garment and contrasting colour stripes run through each nodule and all the way around the garment. Finally edges around the
neck, arms and back-opening are picked up and worked in a 2-colour twisted rib.

Needles

3.5mm (US 4) circular needle, for stockinette gauge
