The Design

You're going to be frilled by our latest Lolita Hat, the latest garment from the Lolita Collection designed by our QF design team. 

The hat can be worked in either one or two colours. Begin by first working the crown panel in brioche stitch and shaping the bangs and frill using decorative increases. Stitches are then picked up along the edge of the brioche section and the sides of the hat are worked in open-honeycomb lace stitch. The ear flaps are shapes individually using the German short row method. Cast-off the hat and work I-cords to finish.

• Qing Fibre Pearl - 90% merino, 10% nylon, 400m, 100g, fingering weight. 
• Qing Fibre Veranita -  79% Cashmere 21% Silk, 300m, 25g, lace weight.
• Qing Fibre Rapunzel DK - 69% silk, 22% mohair, 9% nylon, 350m, 100g.
