In Septemper we released our third Mystery Box of the year, the 'Kika’s Cafe' Mystery Box made in collaboration with Kutovakika. After popular demand we've decided to bring them back for a second pre-order. Now the mystery is revealed, its time to dive in and create your very own 'Breakfast Club Vest'!

Important: Please make a separate order if making any additional non pre-order purchases. Items purchased with the Mystery Box, will not be sent until the shipment of your Kika's Cafe Project Box.

Pre-Order & Delivery

• Pre-Orders close January 24th 7pm BST, please note this is based on limited quantities so pre-orders may closer earlier.
  
  
• Your order will be sent out to you between late April and early May 2024, you will receive a tracking link to track your order from door to door (both UK and international orders).
  
  
• You will receive your 'Breakfast Club Vest' pattern pdf in your order confirmation email, which will arrive with you around 5 minutes after purchasing your box.

What's the theme?

Welcome to Kika’s Café, a cozy sanctuary where knitting conversations flow as smoothly as the warm drinks. Step inside and enjoy a vibrant spread of pastries, fresh seasonal fruits, and our signature breakfast granola, dotted with bright red berries. Sunlight filters through the grand antique windows, casting a soft glow on the eclectic chinaware, sourced from all around the globe. At Kika’s Café, colour and creativity are woven into every detail—whether in the yarn you knit or the peaceful atmosphere that encourages you to slow down and savour the moment.

The Base

You will receive 4x-8x Skeins of our Baby Teddy base, the amount you receive will depend what size you choose.

Baby Teddy -  The softest Baby Alpaca fibre is combined with silk to create this boucle yarn. The fluffy loops give the fine silk core extra texture making it thicker than our Suri Lace and actually a fingering weight yarn!

65% Baby Alpaca 35% Silk  50g / 325m

To fit bust circumferences of: 71-76 (81-86) 91-96 (101-106) 111-117 (122-127)132-137 (147-150) 152-158 cm/ 28-30 (32-34) 36-38 (40-42) 44-46 (48-50) 52-54 (56-58) 60-62 inches 

To fit waist circumferences of: 56-62 (62-69) 69-79 (79-89) 89-99 (99-108) 108-115 (115-121) 121-128 (128-137) 137- cm/ [22-24.5 (24.5-27) 27-31 (31-35) 35-39 (39-42.5) 42.5-45.5 (45.5-47.5) 47.5-50.5 (50.5-54) 54-58inches]

(if your measurements fall into two different Bust & Waist sizes we recommend choosing the larger size)

Pattern fit notes: Relaxed fit, with approx. 10-15 cm of positive ease.

Needles:

3 mm / US 2.5: circular needles 40-60 cm / 16-24” for armhole openings and 80-100 cm / 32-40” for hem, or just 80-100 cm / 32-40” needles if you’re using Magic Loop technique.

4.5 mm / US 7: circular needles 80-100 cm / 32-40” for body.
