Wensleyhaze - Moth

The Colour

The luna moth flits and flutters beneath a full moon. Although the giant silk moth that inspired our colourway is a light green, we picked a mysterious purple to reflect its hue under the night sky.

The Base

Wensleydale is a rare species of longhair British sheep and its wool is only sourced in small batches from local farmers. 

It has more lustre than normal wool and pairs brilliantly with Kid Mohair Silk for the extra softness, which is exactly what we’ve done to create our magnificent Wensleyhaze base. Great stitch definition for more rustic knitting projects.
